Welcome Everyone!
Welcome to the CJOS Monthly Blog!
With the arrival of warmer weather, it's the perfect time to move many orchids outdoors and enjoy watching them thrive through late spring and summer. Just remember—while they may love the fresh air, most orchids are sensitive to direct sunlight and can easily burn. Make sure to provide them with adequate shade.
As temperatures rise, your orchids will also need more frequent watering, especially if the potting media dries out quickly. Be attentive to their changing needs to help them flourish in the heat.
If you’re new to growing orchids outdoors or just looking to exchange ideas, our monthly meetings are a great place to connect. Many of our members are happy to share their experience, tips, and tricks. It's also a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow orchid enthusiasts and become more involved in the society.
We hope to see you there!
