Welcome to the CJOS September 2024 monthly blog post! As we step into the new CJOS membership calendar year, I hope you’ve all had a fantastic summer 🏖️, filled with memorable moments with family, friends, and, of course, your orchids🌺.
Our annual picnic 🧺 on August 25th was a wonderful success, and we have ✨ Anne and Paul Skalka ✨ to thank for hosting such a delightful event. A big shout-out to everyone who contributed potluck dishes and assisted with setup and cleanup. Your efforts helped make the day truly special. We also enjoyed a lively mini auction💸 featuring some gorgeous plants—thank you to everyone who participated!
Looking ahead, we’re excited to bring you a fantastic lineup of speakers 🗣 over the coming months. They’ll share their expertise and passion for orchid growing, helping us all deepen our knowledge and enhance our enjoyment of this wonderful hobby. Remember, our meetings take place every 3rd Thursday of the month, and we’d love to see you there.

*The CJOS meeting venue is at Trinity Church (33 Mercer St., Princeton, NJ 08540, (USA)). The meetings are held from 7pm - 8:30pm. All are welcome to attend a meeting; especially if it is your first time and introduction to CJOS. Grab a member and ask lots of questions about what CJOS is and how to join!
